ECE Students Excelled in Western Engineering Competition
April 6, 2011 - Several teams of UVic Engineering students competed in the Western Engineering Competition in Saskatoon during the last week of January 2011. Tyler Lanigan, Gavin Poole, Doug Thomson, and Jacob Gulliver placed first in the Junior Team Design Competition. Nadine Anseeuw, Noel Bacani, Annie Beauvillier, and Rob Bellrose placed second in Senior Team Design. Both teams have qualified to attend the Canadian Engineering Competition, which will be hosted by McGill University in early March.
