December 1, 2005 - Dr. Wolfgang Hoefer has won the Distinguished Educator Award from the Microwave Theory and Techniques Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for "outstanding achievements as an educator, mentor and role model of microwave engineers and engineering students." Hoefer is recognized as a world-class scholar, author, educator, technical leader and editor in microwave engineering and computational electromagnetics.
