Webstats.uvic.ca is web visit tracking software (sometimes called analytics or visit statistics software) a bit like Google Analytics, hosted on-campus for privacy and security.
Only websites hosted on University Systems infrastructure can be tracked.
Most www.uvic.ca pages (managed through Cascade) are already tracked using Google Analytics -- see https://www.uvic.ca/websites/training-workshops/web-analytics/index.php for more information and access to reports.

How do I request or access this service?
Webtats can be accessed at https://webstats.uvic.ca with your NetLink ID and passphrase. UVic MFA is required to access this service.
Please contact the Computer Help Desk per "How do I get help with this service?" section with the address of the site you wish to track.
What is the cost for this service?
This service is provided free of charge.
When is this service available?
This system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You can be informed of service interruptions by subscribing to Informed.
