Webstats.uvic.ca is web visit tracking software (sometimes called analytics or visit statistics software) a bit like Google Analytics, hosted on-campus for privacy and security.

Only websites hosted on University Systems infrastructure can be tracked.
Most www.uvic.ca pages (managed through Cascade) are already tracked using Google Analytics -- see https://www.uvic.ca/websites/training-workshops/web-analytics/index.php for more information and access to reports.
