November 19: Anthropology Co-op student panel

Are you looking for an opportunity to ask questions about other students co-op experiences or want advice on the application process? Our co-op student panel event is fast approaching and this is your chance to get the answers you need! We’ve asked anthropology co-op students to talk about their co-op job experience and we’re really excited to hear what they have to say.

November 27: RBCM Prof. Marcello Canuto

The UVic Department of Anthropology and the Royal BC Museum are pleased to present; An Isolated Stop on the Road of Power: La Corona, the Snake Kings and Altar 5 - Featuring Prof. Marcello Canuto Director Middle American Research Institute Tulane University. On November 27th, 2019 Prof. Marcello Canuto will be giving a talk about his research in Guatemala including his discovery of Altar 5 from Corona, an important Mayan site. This artifact is showcased in the RBC Museum’s temporary exhibit on the Mayan civilization. Following the talk Prof. Canuto will take the audience on a tour of the gallery.
