Dr. McKechnie: Archaeology Magazine - Evidence of Geoduck in Tseshaht Village

Archaeology Magazine shows students in site with the evidence of geoduck harvesting, which has been found on Keith Island off the west coast of Vancouver Island. Dr. Iain McKechnie explains what this finding means and also to the Nuu-chah-nulth-aht people who live on the island. UVic archaeology field school students, led by McKechnie and Denis St. Claire, have been conducting research on Keith Island for the past three summers, in partnership with Parks Canada and Tseshaht First Nation.
