Enrolment and Wait List
Due to high demand for enrolment, families must apply to our wait list. At this time, only families with a current affiliation to UVic (full-time students, staff & faculty) are eligible for child care services spaces. Families wait-listed for care must notify Child Care Services of any changes to their contact information or UVic affiliation during this time.
Please note that application to a wait list is not confirmation of registration. The demand for infant & toddler child care at UVic is extremely high and spaces for these age groups are very limited. We accept applications for infant care from the time of conception onward. Families who require child care are strongly advised to apply to as many alternate child care centres as possible.

Families will be notified by email of an offer of placement in a child care program. From there, we will schedule a program visit. You will need to complete a registration package before your registration is finalized.
Access to care is in priority order as follows:
- currently enrolled children (children already receiving care will be automatically placed in the next program level as spaces become available)
- siblings of currently enrolled children who have been on a waitlist for at least 12 months
- children of:
- Full-time students
- Faculty and full-time University staff
