Visual Arts Auction Bursary*

One or more bursaries are awarded to undergraduate students entering or continuing in a Visual Arts program. Preference will be given to First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit students for at least one of every four bursary assignments.

Applicants, candidates, or nominees for this award who have indicated they are First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit are required to demonstrate their eligibility for Indigenous-specific awards in alignment with the Indigenous Citizenship Declaration (ICD) Policy (GV0810).

Eligibility

Undergraduate students

General bursaries are open to undergraduate students who:

Are Canadian citizens or are permanent residents of Canada.
Receive the maximum full-time Canadian government student loans and grants for their period of study.
Maintain registration in a minimum of 4.5 units in the term in which they receive a bursary (3.0 units for students with a permanent disability).
Maintain registration in a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks of study for the term in which they receive a bursary.
For continuing students, a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the previous academic session is required.

How to apply

There are two opportunities to apply each year.

The deadlines are:

June 1 for the Summer Session (May to August)
October 15 for the Winter Session (September to April).

Only one application per session is necessary to be considered for all bursaries administered by Student Awards and Financial Aid.
