Family-based Childhood Obesity Prevention Program

Developing and evaluating a "B.C made" Early Intervention Program that targets families with children aged between 8 and 12, whose Body Mass Index (BMI) for their age is above the 85th percentile. This program is delivered in partnership through the Childhood Obesity Foundation, University of Victoria and the Province of British Columbia.

Up to 85% of young adults regularly use social media (e.g. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook). This study examines whether we can use social media data generated by the user to predict that person's mental health.
