With the retirement of the incumbent, the University is now conducting an international search for a new Director for CISUR. The ideal candidate will be a recognized leader in the field of substance use research and has ideally worked across several thematic areas related to substance use. This person will be committed to collegiality, collaboration, and transparency. Through strong people skills, an inclusive approach and respect for diversity, they are a proven relationship- and community-builder. The ideal candidate will be appointable as a tenured regular faculty member at the University of Victoria. The Director position is a 5-year term with the possibility for additional terms.
