Join the Centre for Asia-Pacific Initiatives in a rare opportunity to meet and hear from the Thai Ambassador to Canada, Dr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi.

Ambassador Isarabhakdi will introduce us to Thailand – and all the reasons it is a worthy partner for Canada. The second largest economy in Southeast Asia and one of the top tourist destinations in the world, Thailand is also a rapidly industrializing economy and a regional and international hub for multinational business. This presentation will discuss Thailand–Canada relations, our shared values and priorities and make an argument for strengthened relations in the context of the current political situation.

Ambassador Isarabhakdi’s presentation will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.

Free and open to the public. Refreshments and light snacks will be served.
