PCIC Director Recognized as Highly-Cited Researcher

Dr. Xuebin Zhang is among six scholars from the University of Victoria who have been included in Clarivate's Highly Cited Researchers list for 2025. This list recognises researchers for the significance and influence of their contributions.

British Columbia Disaster and Climate Risk Assessment Released

The British Columbia Disaster and Climate Risk Assessment was recently released through ClimateReadyBC. This report, to which several PCIC scientists contributed, is a comprehensive assessment of six natural and climate-related hazards in BC. The report also examines a range of possible impacts and associated risks to diverse populations across the province.

ClimateData.ca Version 2 Launched

We are pleased to announce the updated version of Canada’s national climate data portal, ClimateData.ca, for which PCIC is an integral partner. The platform has undergone a major update, making it easier for users to navigate the site, as well as to customize, visualize, and download the climate data that’s important for their work.
