The Strategic Framework Impact Fund is supporting new projects tackling water related challenges, student mental health, and the role theatre can play in addressing racism,
diversity and equity.
A new mental health initiative will build an even more compassionate and supportive community at UVic where students can find the help they need. Inspired by the Stanford
Resilience Project, UVic Bounce seeks to normalize and de-stigmatize the challenges that students experience at university.
Six UVic faculty members leading projects that strengthen community partnerships and provide engaged-learning opportunities for students have been awarded $30,000 in
Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) Grants. Approximately 280 to 480 students will benefit from these curriculum development projects.
Two outstanding classroom leaders who are known for their dedication and innovation to the teaching process have been given Alumni Awards for Excellence in Teaching.
