Autism’s Own Conference Marks World Autism Awareness Day
On April 2 join your local autism community at Autism’s Own Conference, along with UVic’s Centre for Autism Research, Technology, and Education (CARTE) for a unique and intimate evening of autism cultural sharing. All performances are by persons diagnosed with autism. There will be opening remarks by a First Nations elder, VP of Academic Planning Dr. Katherine Mateer, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Dr. Peter Keller and Director of UVic’s Autism Centre Dr. James Tanaka.
