Celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science at the Division of Medical Sciences

February 11 is the International Day of Women & Girls in Science.

The day, which was first declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, recognizes that the full and equal access to and participation in STEM for women and girls of all ages is imperative for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.

To celebrate, we would like to introduce you to the many women-identifying individuals who work with the Division of Medical Sciences. Clicking on each person’s name will take you to their profile, where you can read more about their research, publications, funding, and lab members, as well as links to their websites.
