Centre for Regenerative Futures (CRF)

The Centre for Regenerative Futures (formerly the Centre for Social and Sustainable Innovation or CSSI) at the Gustavson School of Business helps employees, students and community partners integrate regenerative sustainability and social responsibility into everything they do.

From research and teaching to daily operations, we offer practical support to meet the school’s commitment to the United Nations (UN) Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and to integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into everything we do.

Regeneration

Doing less harm is no longer enough. Our life-supporting ecosystems and communities need to be restored and revitalized. Regenerative sustainability means aiming for net-positive environmental, social and economic outcomes. CRF recognizes that we need to give more to the world than we take.

Mission: CRF empowers the Gustavson School of Business and its stakeholders and rightsholders to engage in regenerative sustainability by focusing on the four following priorities.

Facilitating collaboration among academics, community organizations, policymakers and industry leaders.
Generating bold operational innovations.
Embedding regeneration at the heart of business education.
