ECE 499 - Design Project II - Teaching Assistant¹

Summary of duties and responsibilities

Under supervision of course instructor, performs some or all of the following: Assist with webpage design and update, solicit and update projects list, prepare project materials, research reference materials, liaise with industrial sponsors, organize and assist with formal or guest lectures, keep records of project progress, manage deadlines for reports and other milestones, organize and assist with poster displays/exhibitions and presentations, and other related tasks.

Required qualifications and experience

Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or an acceptable equivalent. Registered as a Master or Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering or an acceptable equivalent. Have good communication skills. Familiarity with HTML/webpage design, various electronic test equipment and have a broad applied knowledge Electrical and Computer Engineering principles.
