Average weekly hours: 4.5

Summary of duties and responsibilities

Under supervision of course instructor, performs some or all of the following:

Lead lab tutorials; prepare and demonstrate course software, lab experiments and projects, help students work through lab demonstration, experiments, and projects, answer questions, mark assignments and/or project reports, provide student consultation at established hours, maintain course web page, and other related tasks.


Required qualifications and experience

Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or an acceptable equivalent. Registered as a Master or Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or acceptable equivalent. Be familiar with Java and experienced with object-oriented programming. Taken SENG 462/468 or an equivalent course on distributed systems and the internet. Have good communication skills.
