Short Bio:

Andreas Hartmann is a hydrologist specializing in groundwater systems. He is a Full Professor and Director of the Institute of Groundwater Management at TU Dresden and an Adjunct Professor at the University of New South Wales. Previously, he held research and faculty positions in Freiburg, Bristol, McGill, and UNSW. His work on karst hydrology has been widely recognized, earning major awards including the EGU Arne Richter Award for Outstanding Early Career Scientists and the Jim Dooge Award for best publication in HESS.
