Prospective faculty & sessionals

Biomedical engineering is an interdisciplinary program offered by the Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering departments.

Prospective faculty

The University of Victoria is recognized annually as one of Canada’s top universities. Our departments are recognized for strengths in both research and teaching. Our faculty members have active research programs and publish regularly in academic journals.

Sessional lecturers

We consider PhD students for teaching positions. Students must usually have advanced to candidacy to be considered. Exceptions may be made for those with prior teaching experience.

Sessional lecturers are covered by a collective agreement between CUPE Local 4163 and UVic.
