UVic launches new anti-racism grants for faculty, instructors and staff

This November, during the 5 Days of Action, UVic is launching the new Anti-Racism Initiative (ARI) Grant to help advance our commitment to anti-racism and diversity.

Developed by the Office of the Vice-President Academic and Provost, and administered by the Division of Learning and Teaching Support and Innovation, grants of up to $7,500 are made available to support faculty, instructors and staff in revising their programs, courses, curriculum or learning resources in ways that help fulfill UVic's commitment to anti-racism and the values of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Any instructor who directly supports student learning and the student experience at UVic is encouraged to apply. Eligible faculty and staff include research-stream and teaching-stream faculty, sessional lecturers, lab instructors, and teaching-related professional staff.
