History

Richard B. Wilson (1904-1991) was a prominent local business leader and politician. He served as Chair of the University of Development Board, Chair of the Board of Governors, and Chancellor from 1967 to 1969. He was the Mayor of Victoria from 1961-1965.

RRW was built in 1978.
