History

Archie McKinnon (1896-1984) was a legendary figure in the Victoria sports community who coached Canadian athletes at four Olympic games. This building was the primary recreation facility at UVic before the Centre for Athletics, Recreation and Special Abilities (CARSA) opened in May of 2015.
