History
S. Joseph Cunliffe (1920-1990) was a professional engineer who served as chair of the University of Victoria Foundation. Cunliffe also served as chair of the University of Victoria Board of Governors from 1973 to 1979. He was made a member of the Order of Canada in 1982.
RJC was built in 1981.
