Hi, I’m Cam! I came to the Digital Health Lab (DHL) to explore the usability of a mobile health application for the complimentary treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Being a personal trainer for the classic “desk-jockey” once COVID-19 hit, I became insistent on putting my practice online. As a solo project, I soon came to realize this was a daunting task. Now with help from the DHL, my vision is coming to fruition. The motivation for treating IBD comes from my personal experience with Crohn’s disease, and the benefits I experienced firsthand from exercise and healthy lifestyle habits. Being on the island and surrounded by wonderful people is a dream come true, and I am excited for what the future holds!
