Rebecca recently transitioned to a full-time role as a Consultant in Patient Centered Solutions at IQVIA. She is still involved with research management for the Digital Health Lab on a part-time basis and can be reached via email at digitalhealthstudies@uvic.ca.
Rebecca's current research interests include patient engagement and qualitative analysis to support development of patient reported outcome measures. Prior to joining the Digital Health Lab, Rebecca was trained in human molecular genetics and served as a Clinical Research Project Coordinator at the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto), where she worked with children being assessed for ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Rebecca has received clinical research training from the CANTRAIN national clinical trials training platform and is grateful to be a member of two CAN TAP TALENT ECHO communities of practice: Clinical Research Professionals and Clinical Trialists. In 2025, she had the privilege of receiving a CAN TAP TALENT Clinical Research Professional Internship Award to support clinical trials education and mentorship from the Active Aging Research Team at UBC in the area of implementation and scale-up science.
Although born in Victoria, Rebecca spent much of her childhood in Uganda. When she's not hard at work, you can find her exploring playgrounds all over Victoria with her three kids, experimenting with new child-friendly gluten-free recipes, or trying STEM-based crafts and activities.
