Prof. Yang Shi is awarded Dr.-Ing. Eugene Mittelmann Achievement Award

Dr. Yang Shi receives prestigious Dr.-Ing. Eugene Mittelmann Achievement Award
The IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) announced recently that Dr. Yang Shi has been selected to receive the 2023 Dr.-Ing Eugene Mittelmann Achievement Award, First presented in 1975, the award recognizes outstanding contributions in the field of Industrial Electronics.
Dr. Shi was cited for “his outstanding contributions to networked and distributed control, model predictive control, industrial cyber-physical systems and mechatronics applications” by the Hiromasa Haneda—chair of the 2023 IES Awards and Honors Committee.
The award is officially presented during a special ceremony during the 49th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IECON 2023), held in October 2023 in Singapore.
