Dylan Iverson

Dylan obtained his Bachelor’s of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria. An extracurricular computational fluid dynamics project during his undergraduate program stemmed into something much more, leading him into the vast field of fluid mechanics and clean energy.

Dylan is currently researching oscillating-foil hydrokinetic turbines, amongst other fluid mechanics topics, under the supervision of Dr. Peter Oshkai. The experimental and numerical modelling of the tidal turbines provide an excellent opportunity to combine his interests in fluid mechanics, clean energy solutions, and the oceans around his home.

In his spare time, you’ll probably find Dylan somewhere out on the coastline or in the mountains.
