Abstract: In Greater Victoria, we are lucky to turn on the tap and know that safe drinking water will come out. But when harmful microbes and molecules are too small to see, smell or taste, how do we know our water is safe? Prof. Heather Buckley talks about how researchers “zoom in” to see what is in our water and the projects at UVic designing new sensors for hard-to-spot molecules, helping people around the globe monitor and protect their drinking water.
