MEC rises to the top of the fifth annual Gustavson Brand Trust Index

The 2019 Gustavson Brand Trust Index indicates consumers view brands positively when a crisis is responded to with honest, authentic remedies. The insight is evidenced by Mountain Equipment Co-op leading this year's ranking. MEC took several positive actions in response to criticism over the lack of diversity of people in their ads.

CAUCE marketing award

The Division of Continuing Studies’ marketing unit will receive an award at the 2011 Canadian Association for University Continuing Education (CAUCE) conference in Toronto this month. The campaign promoting the 12th Annual Current Concepts in Dentistry conference in 2010 has been awarded the top prize in the E-Marketing category. The e-marketing campaign used email and online components to draw 592 dental practitioners to the four-day event on campus in November. Participants from across Canada and the US attended specialist seminars, networked, and brushed up on the latest professional/technological advances, earning up to 28 continuing dental education credits. University Marketing: Awarded

University Marketing in conjunction with Student Transition Services has won silver in the best programs—student recruitment category of the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education 2008 Prix d’Excellence Awards.
