Astrid Brousselle (Public Administration) is a public health researcher with expertise in the ecological transition. She can speak about managing risks and fostering resilience with the COVID-19 pandemic recovery. (Email at )

Dean Karlen (Physics and Astronomy) is an expert in particle physics. Over the past year he has worked with other academics in BC, the US and Germany to understand the spread of COVID-19. He can speak to how models can be used to make near-term forecasts by including the effects of variants, vaccination and the relaxation of health measures. (Email at )

Junling Ma (Mathematics and Statistics) is an expert in mathematical modelling of the spread of infectious diseases, optimal control strategies and their interaction with viral evolution. In the context of COVID-19, he can discuss modelling as a crucial tool for policymakers and the public. (Email at )

Xuekui Zhang (Mathematics and Statistics) is an expert in statistical genomics, machine learning, the design and analysis of clinical trials, and big data problems.
