Timetable now live

The first term (September-December 2020) and second term (January-April 2021) timetable is now live: uvic.ca/timetable. We appreciate your patience during this process, and we expect registration to open June 22, 2020 as planned.

The majority of our undergraduate courses are being offered fully online for first term, with a few exceptions for courses where hands-on learning cannot be effectively replicated in an online environment. In-person (i.e. face-to-face) offerings are predominantly in the Faculty of Fine Arts (theatre, music and visual arts courses) and the Faculty of Science (two dozen or so courses with lab components). All undergraduate and graduate courses should now have their instructional method indicated in the timetable for first term.

We are developing protocols for all in-person courses based on health and safety recommendations from the Provincial Health Officer and will communicate details to impacted students in the summer.

To support online learning, we are regularly updating the Learn Anywhere websiteto include learning strategies and academic and personal supports. Additionally, we are looking to invest in more tools and resources to support an online environment.
