Island Health COVID-19 testing clinic

The university is assisting Island Health to provide an additional regional COVID-19 testing site in UVic’s parking lot 10 as part of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The drive-through testing clinic opened Oct. 26, and will be installed, staffed and managed by Island Health. It will augment other testing sites that are currently operating in the region.

Appointments for COVID-19 testing must be pre-booked through Island Health’s Call Centre. Island Health does not provide tests for walk-up or drive-in clients without an appointment. Visit Island Health's website for information about booking an appointment by phone, text or online.

Parking lot 10, off Gordon Head Road, has been closed to general parking. Some minor delays on West Campus Way may be experienced due to traffic waiting to access the clinic.
