SDH Students at 13th National Harm Reduction Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico Piotr Burek, SDH MA student (2022) and Daniel Gudino, SDH PhD candidate (2018) were part of the 13th National Harm Reduction Conference, held from October 13-16 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Piotr organized and participated in two panels: “Drug checking in counter-Neoliberal perspective” and “A drug checking model to reach urban and rural communities”. Daniel presented a poster titled: “Pushing harm reduction through a medicalized model: health policy planner’s perspectives on the COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Guidance in BC, Canada”. We would like to thank our co-presenters Lea Gozdzialski (PhD student, Chemistry), Celeste Macevičius (MPH student) & Bruce Wallace (Scientist, CISUR; Professor, School of Social Work).
