CUPE LOCAL 4163 (Component 3)

The Faculty of Humanities is requesting expressions of interest to teach one or more courses
on topics relating to Scottish studies. 

 

The department through which the course will be offered is open. Course content must focus on Scottish studies but could fall under a number of Humanities departments, including English, History, Philosophy, Gender Studies etc. 

 

Topics might include: Scottish literature, poetry, fiction, philosophy, history, culture, film, media, food, religion, gender roles, Medieval culture etc.

 

Proposed courses can be at the first-, second-, or third-year level.  Class caps will be a minimum of 45.

Applications should include a cover letter and a copy of your curriculum vitae.  In the cover letter please include a title and a 250 - 500 word description of the proposed course.
