Lynda.com is an online database of over 195,797 instructional videos and 5,262 courses covering the latest software, creative and business skills.  Lynda.com offers high-quality training from subject matter experts on a multitude of subjects including but not limited to: education, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, time management, HTML coding,  photography, and much more.

After a successful 30 day trial in 2014 with Lynda, UVic has been annually approving the service license. Currently, all staff and faculty have free access to Lynda until April 2018.

This session is designed so new users familiarize with the tool and discover the advantages of this amazing opportunity for on time learning. Also, current Lynda users can attend the session to explore new Lynda features and share interesting playlists or just to have an hour of self-paced productive and fun learning away from the office.
