Course description

Business Process Mapping (BPM) is typically used in organizations that are looking to visualize how they are working in order to find efficiencies and make improvements for the future.  BPM supports people in communicating about current processes and how changes can be made so long as all the stakeholders are part of the conversation.

In this course learners will undergo an analysis and creation of a flow chart depicting the sequence of work and interactions of people conducting the related steps involved in a single work process.

Learners are asked to arrive with a work process in mind in order to apply the process mapping tools during the session.

Note: Ideally once learners have an understanding of how to create a current state BPM they can work with others towards the creation of improved future state process maps.
