Gift from the estate of Frances Druce

December 1, 2015—A recent gift from the estate of Frances Druce is creating awards in three different faculties. Ms. Druce grew up in England and worked as a code-breaker in Bletchley Park during the Second World War. After the war she visited a friend in Victoria and never left. Her gift will help women continue their education at UVic in the areas of law, music and science.
