Sheila Bailin North Saanich Currents Community Impact Fund

Sheila Bailin dedicated over 50 years of personally fulfilling volunteer work in the non-profit sector. Some of the projects she worked on included violence prevention, educational initiatives, and cross cultural and interfaith relationships. Sheila co-founded the quarterly community newsletter, North Saanich Currents as a repository of community resources and a space to share local stories related to sustainability, histories, recreation, and the arts. She is encouraged by the opportunities and influence that Community-Engaged Learning and the North Saanich Currents publication can jointly offer – allowing the much needed voices of younger people to be heard.
