Oak Bay Puppet Collective Career Development Endowment

The Oak Bay Puppet Collective Theatre Career Development Endowment supports the Theatre Department by funding workshops led by skilled professionals for senior-level theatre students. These workshops aim to equip students with essential skills for successful careers in the performing arts. While the initial endowment is modest, contributions from additional donors are welcome to expand the scope and/or frequency of these workshops.

The Oak Bay Puppet Collective is a charitable trust made up of diverse members. Puppets understand the need for a hand up and are honoured to support the Theatre Department through this initiative. Administered by UVic alumnae Dr. Jacqueline Prowse and Dr. Timothy Davidge, long-time Phoenix Theatre subscribers, who recognize the opportunities that UVic has provided them. Through this endowment, they hope to inspire and support the next generation of performers who bring joy to the Island community.
