The Neurodiversity Family Centre Student Award

The Neurodiversity Family Centre is a Victoria-based counselling and education centre dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families through neurodiversity-affirming care. Founded by award-winning counsellor, educator, and author Mary Klovance, the centre offers counselling, groups, and workshops focused on supporting and understanding neurodivergent individuals.

This award was created in recognition of the challenges many students face when balancing school, work, and financial responsibilities—challenges that can be especially significant for neurodivergent students. The goal of this award is to help alleviate some of that financial pressure for a neurodivergent student pursuing studies in a helping profession. By offering this support, The Neurodiversity Family Centre hopes to encourage students to continue developing their unique strengths and talents so they can one day use them to support and uplift others in their communities.
