Honorary degrees

UVic has awarded honorary degrees since its first convocation in 1964. This fall we're awarding three honorary degrees that recognize notable achievements in scholarship, teaching, business and public service.

Diplomas

Diplomas will be sent out in late October or available for pick-up as of October 31 at the Office of the Registrar in the Jamie Cassels Centre.

For the first time in 27 years, UVic's diplomas will have a new look. Students graduating this fall will be the first class to receive the new design.

Alumni Association

Welcome to the UVic Alumni family! After each ceremony, all grads and their guests are invited to stop by Mystic Market for treats, giveaways, grad merchandise, diploma frame sales and photo booths.

Flowers

Surprise your graduate with a beautiful bouquet of flowers!

You can pre-order flowers for pick up the day of your ceremony. Graduates will not be able to wear or carry flowers during their ceremony so hold on to them until after. Fresh roses are also available for purchase during convocation.
