Honorary degrees

UVic has awarded honorary degrees since its first convocation in 1964. This fall we're awarding three honorary degrees that recognize notable achievements in scholarship, teaching, business and public service.

Diplomas will be sent out in early June or available for pick-up as of June 6 at the Office of the Registrar in the Jamie Cassels Centre.

Surprise your graduate with a beautiful bouquet of flowers!

You can pre-order flowers for pick up the day of your ceremony. Graduates will not be able to wear or carry flowers during their ceremony so hold on to them until after. Fresh roses are also available for purchase during convocation.
