UVic Formula Hybrid

UVic Hybrid placed first at this year's international SAE Formula Hybrid competition held in Loudon, New Hampshire. This competition comprised of 35 international student engineering teams competing in design, project management, and dynamic events including autocross, endurance, and acceleration runs. We won first in the design category and got a special award for our innovative use of pneumatic antiroll. This competition has really taught our team a lot about what industry employers are looking for and about engineering methodology in general. We got a amazing chance to collaborate and network with other teams and employers and have made some great connections. ​ Student team members at competition included:
