Graduate Support

All incoming graduate students receive funding support of at least $23,587 per year. This is conditional on adequate progress and other factors; contact the department for further details. Part of this amount comes from the supervisor's research grants, and some comes from teaching in the undergraduate laboratories or other TA duties. Students may obtain fellowships or other support that will increase this amount. All eligible incoming graduate students are assessed for University of Victoria Fellowships. NSERC or other agencies also provide fellowships.
