BC Recreation and Parks Scholarship
The BC Recreation and Parks scholarship is given in support of building and sustaining active, healthy lifestyles and communities in British Columbia. Each year the BCRPA recognizes one student graduating from the Bachelor of Arts Recreation and Health Cooperative Education Pogram for their achievements in, and commitment to, the fields of physical activity, community development and health promotion.
The British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association is a not for profit organization dedicated to building and sustaining actve healthy lifestyles and communities in BC. The recreation, parks and culture sector is an essential partner for building healthy individuals and communities, as well as fostering economic and environmental sustainability. They inspire and support community leaders and practitioners to build and sustain healthy communities. This is done through advocacy, communication and education with a diverse network of partners.
