Expert on Boston Marathon and emergency management

The following University of Victoria researcher is available to discuss Monday’s events in Boston:

Adam Molnar (Political Science) is a UVic doctoral student researching security, policing, and emergency management responses in the context of major sporting events, such as the World Cup and Olympic Games. His research considers extensive security efforts at such events, including risk analysis in planning security for major events, novel emergency response efforts, and the public safety legacies for host cities after the event has ended.
