UVic maintains Maclean’s #2 ranking

UVic has maintained its second-place ranking among the top Canadian comprehensive universities in the 2019 Maclean's magazine rankings.
Among various categories and distinctions, UVic topped all comprehensive universities in medical and science grants; ranked second in student awards, faculty awards and total research dollars; and ranked third in citations, library expenses and library acquisitions. In the student satisfaction category for comprehensive universities, UVic ranked first for promoting Indigenous visibility, and fourth overall.
Maclean's comprehensive category comprises the 15 Canadian universities that combine a significant amount of research activity with a wide range of programs at the undergraduate and graduate level, including professional degrees.
