Mathematician elected to Royal Society of Spain

Dr. Hari M. Srivastava (professor emeritus, mathematics and statistics) was elected as an academician and corresponding member (Foreign Fellow) of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Spain in March 2016. Srivastava is the only Canadian in the mathematical sciences to be elected by the academy, whose establishment can be traced back to the year 1582.
