Brief biography

My research interests include the history and theory of modern and contemporary architecture and design, public artworks commissioned for public and semi-private spaces, early twentieth-century modernism, mathematics and art, history of photography, and theories of affect, space, and mobilities.

I have a forthcoming book on international air terminal design and wayfinding. It considers how their architecture and artworks are designed to organize passenger movement and generate spending. My book is titled Wayfinding, Consumption, and Air Terminal Design and is part of the Routledge Research in Design Studies series.
