About us

The Family Centre is an inclusive family resource centre located in the Student Family Housing complex supporting a diverse student family community living both on and off campus.

Programs at the UVic Family Centre, except for the Living Edge Community Food Market, have been placed on hold due to COVID-19.

Students living on and off campus are welcome to pick up free food at the Community Food Market.  Beginning on November 17th, 2021, the Market will be held at the UVic Family Centre on Wednesdays between 2:00 – 3:45 pm.

Please note that the program is cancelled during statutory holidays. We encourage interested students to monitor the UVic Family Centre Facebook page for updates, including possible cancellations.

We sincerely thank the Living Edge and the Food Share Network for their support with this important program.
