Student Voices: Tye Landels
UVic student Tye Landels (English), one of 10 recipients of the inaugural 3M National Student Fellowships last year, is featured on University Affairs in its roundup of "student voices." The AUCC publication was asked by the 10 student leaders to act as the forum to present their views. Landels focused his opinion piece on how people speak about the undergraduate experience, and he touches on academic disengagement, homesickness, mental illness, student poverty, underage alcoholism and rape culture.
